History

“Songthang Club” of Assumption University was formed in 1980 which the primary objective is to create a free pamphlet for students in the university in order to inform and disperse some significant news. Since the pamphlet had no longer used and decreased their roles towards the students due to higher technology and environmental modification take part in, Songthang has changed the objective of the club from 2012 until now. We’ve changed from making pamphlet and focused on helping indigent children in the society.

Vision

Assumption University Student Organization is a well-known center of activity units and students. The organization will maintain and protect student rights under university regulations as well as support and persuade all units to commit creative and useful activities in which will be beneficial to individual latency, university and society. Student Organization bases its performance on a standardized, neutral and flexible management system under present situation to build up opportunity for participation and to facilitate activities unit in order to improve student self in every dimensions to be as total person, through extra-curricular activities.

Mission

Songthang Club is the community of student at Assumption University has the purposes to development juvenile youth and hosting voluntary activities which will be held especially for the children and youth to have in needs. Songthang Club will help the students to have social responsibility and encourage them to achieve the actual competency in the right way
