ABAC BArch Interior Architecture Questions

Hello everybody

I am going to apply for BArch In. Arch. this year and before I do so I would like to get some questions answered.

I already wrote an email to the office, but I am afraid i got no answer.

Maybe thats because when i send the email over the form on the ABAC homepage i got 100 confirmation emails that my email was send... maybe they though it was spam ...

So here are my questions

1. What exactly includes the architecture aptitude test (i.e. drawing, math)
2. do i need to sit the math exam?
3. what happens if i fail the aptitude test, may i apply for another subject?
4. do you think it might be possible to sit the entrance exams in my home country? maybe they could send the exams to my school and a teacher of my school will examine me

Hi Namtan,
Hopefully I can offer you some help.

1. The architecture aptitude test basically test your ability to draw 3D shapes (isometric) from several 2D images (plan, elevation etc.) It also includes a few sketching that you have to draw.
2. You're not required to do the math exam for this Faculty
3. You won't fail the aptitude test. Nobody ever fail it. Its very easy. (I know I made it sound technical but its actually very very simple.)
4. I don't believe that ABAC will send their aptitude test to another institution, but if you succeed in getting a hold on them it won't hurt to ask. in any case, I believe that most international students in this faculty pretty much take the exam when they get here. Believe me, this test will be the LEAST of your problems here at ABAC.
